What a fantastic Half Term we have had!

We have had a brilliant first half term and I am very pleased and proud of all the children and the super learning that has taken place.

The pictures below will take you through a whistle stop tour of the last 8 weeks.

Enjoying a spot of reading!

 Data Handling

Macmillan Coffee Morning Maths Task - measuring the hall for the bunting

We studied the books Hansel and Gretel and experienced the mysterious story, Baba Yaga and the Geese during our fantastic writing weeks. The children painted spooky forests, wrote letters to the Woodcutter, designed wanted posters and finally planned and wrote their own stories - what a busy 2 weeks we had. The finished stories were brilliant!

Busy painting spooking looking trees!

Look out for next terms blogging - we will be researching The Great Fire of London, investigating materials, becoming apprentice builders, learning and writing poems and not forgetting........practising our Christmas Nativity!! Ho, ho, ho!
